Bethany Lutheran Homes, a corporation comprised of 32 churches and affiliated with Gundersen Lutheran Health System, offers a wide range of care from independent living, assisted living, dementia/Alzheimer's care to skilled nursing. The corporation also sponsors Causeway Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers, an outreach program designed to meet the needs of the elderly living in the La Crosse area.

The Charter of the Boy Scouts of America states that "the purpose of this
corporation shall be to promote, through organization and cooperation with
other agencies, the ability of boys to do things themselves and with others,

7 Rivers Region Alliance
The 7 Rivers Alliance is a regional leadership group that boosts economic growth by fostering collaboration in western Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota, and northeast Iowa. It brings together public and private resources to forge entrepreneurial growth, and serves as a clearinghouse of vital information to enhance quality of life in the region.
Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is the Children's Advocacy Center located in La Crosse. It offers child-friendly surroundings and provides a private and confidential environment for families dealing with possible abuse and neglect.
United Funds for the Arts and Humanities
The United Funds for the Arts and Humanities is an umbrella fund-raising organization that provides funding through 10 of our area's most treasured arts groups.  United Way
The Great Rivers Region United Way continues to be the local premiere fundraising organization. Currently, 27 partner agencies are receiving funds to assist in providing 61 specific programs through the 2006 Community Investment process.
 UW-L College of Business
The College Business Administration within the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse is dedicated to quality teaching, research and public service. The CBA is the only institution in the region that is accredited by the AACSB International. Less than 1/3 of U.S. business school programs and only 10% of business school programs worldwide meet the rigorous standards of this accreditation.
 Western Wisconsin Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Board is responsible for setting forth a five-year plan for the operation of 13 federal employment and training programs in local job centers.
 Wisconsin/Minnesota Hockey League
The Wisconsin/Minnesota Hockey League is made up of 13 local hockey associations in southeast Minnesota and west central Wisconsin. The league consists of over 70 youth teams from mites to bantams and includes two levels of girls hockey.
The goal is to promote ice hockey as a fun sport for youth in the area and promote sportsmanship among the players, coaches, and families that are involved.
